I should’ve bought them sooner! They’re comfy.

For hot piece Robert Plant. 60 years old today!

If only it was tomorrow instead. Then I could say we share a birthday.

While browsing for pics, I found one of him playing soccer in speedos. And he was not too pleased!

I need more jacket options.

I mentioned in the previous post that it was chilly yesterday. And I ended up wearing my old trusty hoody. I didn’t really want to, but it was the only option. My trench is too lightweight, I didn’t want to wear my long wool cardigan, and it’s too damn early to be pulling out my wool bomber.

I was perusing the Soia & Kyo site to see what they have to offer for winter coats. Though I love how warm the long down coat I got from them a couple of years ago keeps me, I regret choosing the poop brown colour.

Well, nevermind the coats. My eyes are drawn to the leather jackets.

Soia & Kyo - ‘Ana Maria’

I already have one of their long down coats, a brown tweed bomber, and a black trench. Maybe it’s time to complete my little collection of S&K.

Earlier Today

19Aug08

To do some grocery shopping. Hence, the bags on the floor. Chili beans with tortillas is on the menu.

Flares: J Brand, bag: Rudsak, shoes: Fluevog (see previous post), and top: Club Monaco.

I didn’t think I’d be wearing this new top so soon since it’s a wool/cashmere blend. But it’s a bit chilly today.

Here’s the low back.

Which means I’ll be throwing on a sweater or jacket when I go back out tonight.

This is also my last summer purchase.

(excuse the crappy second pic)

I see myself wearing these into fall as well with tights.

These Fluevogs will replace the Zara gladiators. That was a bad purchase and I’m still kicking myself over spending money on them. I can already feel the difference when wearing these new shoes. I don’t know if it’s because of the platform or the thick sturdy heels, or a combination of both.

And I hate to admit this. But my Chie Mihara sandals should’ve stayed on the rack as well.

Lesson learned: high heels are not my friend unless there’s a substantial platform on the front. I will now stay away from them.

It’s hideous.

I saw these Marc by Marc Jacobs boots at Winners (Canadian TJ Maxx) yesterday. They were a little under $300. Too much for this fugliness.

While searching for an image of the above picture, I came across a more interesting pair of MJs.

Too bad they didn’t have these ones.
